Small-size precise equipment to large-size packing, specified packing
At main office-Kasukabe latest equipment and facilities are settled to respond the needs in packing and delivering of small-size precise equipments, heavy freights, equipments of exporting plants and shipbuilding equipments.
Moreover, we have experience in super-buffer packing, VLCI light source packing, large-size packing like tanker screw and specified packing like vertical -type motor of electric plant.

Maximum care to environment
By using folding and recycling container (patent obtained; valid 2001-2116), invented jointly with customer in 1999, low-energy packing and less-disposal packing became possible. Also, we pursue for packing which is the most adequate to customer needs and has less burden to environment.

At Kasukabe main office, packing materials producing system from Sealed Air Co., Ltd of America is introduced. Speedy response to customer’s request of small lot and specific packing became available. Using these equipments at maximum, we continue research and development to offer our customer most adequate logistics solution everyday.

Introduction of leading- edge IT technology
Yamato thinks that IT system is the supporting tool for offering more satisfying service to customers. Therefore, we applied R/3 system of software company SAP Co., Ltd, (one of World’s big three software companies) as a basic system which handles our customers’ freight correctly and in unified system.
R/3 is invented for big enterprises, but Yamato thinks that using of high potentiality of R/3 in maximum makes more satisfied service available and decided to apply it. In application phase, Yamato involved in joint development with SAP to invent new functional applications beamed to logistics companies.
After application R/3, each freight is controlled by combination of barcode system and R/3, and speedy delivering and prevention of miss delivering became available. Also, leading edge IT technologies such as drive control system using GPS is applied enthusiastically.

Thorough safety management
The basic point is that safety is the most important for delivering reliability to customers. However, safety can not be realized at once for a morning and for one night. Also, only application of new systems will not solve problems. It is important that all members of company to participate voluntarily and enthusiastically.
At Yamato, not only apply new systems but also labor education program and improvement activities are thoroughly done for making a habit of safe operating and to level up the safety. As a result we were praised highly by insurance company for keeping the safety. In 2007 Yamato was authorized as a Safety Superior Office.

Consideration of nature is matter of course for company as a social duty. In logistics business exhaust gas from track and disposal from used packing materials are real problems to solve. Yamato packing & transport Co., ltd identifies it’s importance hastily and deals with this problem positively.

Together with customer innovated recyclable container Yamato is using it as non-disposal packing materials. This recyclable container obtained a patent in 2001 (valid 2001-2116)
Application of Eco-drive system
Eco-drive system is applied to all tracks. Eco-drive system selects the best driving manipulation from freight weight for loading and conveys it to driver in voice. Also the system supports eco-friendly driving by restraining quick departure and quick break. Due to applying eco-drive system we could decrease fuel expenses drastically.

Enactment of Environment policy
Enacted the environment policy in 1998, everyday we continue company service while paying attention to environment problem.
Yamato packing & transport Co., ltd aware that the most important issue for human being is preservation of environment and through whole service it promises to contribute the society with protecting the environment. Therefore, Yamato enacted following environment policy.
- To promote environment protecting activities set up the promotion system at company and complete it with the participation of all employees.
- Check properly the influence of company activities to environment and do the best effort to improve environment protection continuously.
- To obey laws and regulations related environment protection and to make effort for prevention of environmental pollution by participating actively measures implemented by prefectural and city organs.
- To aware limit of mineral resources, efforts for minimizing of energy and resource usage, promotion of recycling and reusing, also minimizing of disposal should be done from the early stage of development to the abolishment stage of product.
- Those products which give damage to environment should be exchanged if it’s possible economically and technologically. Those products impossible for exchange should be managed properly, used less and recycled more.
- To implement environmental inspection inside of company and to make continuous effort to maintain and improve self inspection system.
- This policy and other environment related information and activities should be conveyed to employees and to make efforts to improve the training instructions aimed at qualified improvement of environment protection activities.
- This policy should be sited in the office and to be opened to all concerned parties outside company.
